Nyaga Dominic serves as an Editorial Researcher at the Platform for Law, Justice, and Society. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B: Honors) from Strathmore Law School and is currently pursuing a Post-graduate Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law. He has also participated in the 2022 Initiative for Long-termism in Africa (ILINA) Seminar and completed the ALN Mini-MBA class of 2021.
Dominic is particularly skilled in legal research and writing, having been awarded the 2020 C.B Madan student award as a budding legal journalist for his thought-provoking commentary published at The Platform. He has worked as a legal researcher for several law firms, as a Graduate Assistant at Strathmore Law School, and gained international experience as a legal researcher at the TradeLab Clinic, Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
Dominic has also held several leadership roles in his academic and extracurricular activities having served as a president of his Law class, Academic Senate Member at Strathmore University Student Council and president of the Africa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF) Strathmore Chapter. He is also an editor, published in several law magazines and featured as an op-ed columnist.
